Like a fresh breeze: the SUNO collection translates moments of lightness into perfect design. Barber Osgerby applies the unique properties of glazed titanium steel to perfectly minimalist design. The new collection includes a bathtub and washbasins that work in harmony with each other and perfectly suit sophisticated architectural surrounds. Each piece in the SUNO series sets its own aesthetic accents. This combination of quality and lively impulses inspires peaceful stimulation and soothing relaxation.
Clear design inspired by nature. The free-standing SUNO flows organically from familiar design concepts to contemporary form with its recessed apron. A classic, ample, interior and at once utilitarian and elegant shape fits into any architectural concept. The protruding rim can be used as a comfortable head and arm rest when bathing, as well as a shelf for toiletries. When standing up or sitting down, it serves as a grab rail, if required.
As Barber Osgerby co-founder Jay Osgerby describes their design of the SUNO freestanding bathtub:
"The form invites engagement, and its exactness is achieved through expert engineering and the use of enamelled steel, which is a far superior material for sanitary ware."
Inside, the generously sized tub slopes inwards at each end towards a centrally located waste outlet, providing comfort for up to two bathers.
The freestanding SUNO with a surface mounted sculptural shell basin, evenly round with a softly sloping interior, cantilevered on a slender pedestal, adds an effect of art and architectural engineering to the SUNO suite.
Generously reduced: The SUNO shell is a surface mounted washbasin with the simplicity of even edges and gracefully sloped bowl.
