Anti-Slip Sense

Anti-Slip Sense is an absolute evolution in slip resistance. Hidden in micro particles, the friction effect is only activated on contact with water. When dry, you will not notice any difference in the look or feel of the bath or shower. So BetteAnti-Slip Sense blends harmoniously with the rest of the bathroom. Rated with the highest rating group C to DIN 51097 (tested by TÜV Rheinland LGA Bautechnik GmbH, according to test certificate BTV 21V30174-01).

Surface without SENSE:

Wet surface offers little adhesion

Water reduces the static friction of the surface. The risk of slipping and falling increases.

Surface with SENSE:

Reduction of aquaplaning

Water is able to flow between the gaps of the upright ceramic particles, which reduces the risk of aquaplaning.

Surface with SENSE:

Increased surface adhesion

The particles are not rigid, but are characterized by a dynamic behavior. Slipping movements of the foot are "followed" - the adhesion is thus improved.

Anti-Slip Pro

The Anti-Slip Pro finish for further safety and a fully standard-compliant anti-slip surface which entirely retains the luxurious finish and the optical and functional qualities of the trademark BetteGlaze®. The system can be easily tailored to individual needs and design specifications. The anti-slip finish complies with rating group B for wet-loaded barefoot areas and rating class R10 for anti-slip properties in workrooms and working areas with an increased risk of slipping as per DIN 51130.

Anti-Slip

Anti-slip surface for shower safety without sacrifice to style or longevity. In the final firing process, a mixture of quartz and sand is fired into the surface, without impairing the smooth feel and brightness of the Glaze®.

Recommended for all showers, as well as the shower zone in baths, the anti-slip finish is available in three options, standard shower area, full surface of the interior base of the bath or shower, as well as full fixture surface as shown in the illustrations in the gallery below.
